Dr Mark Robinson
BAppSci, MBBS, FRACS, FAOrthA
Dr Mark Robinson is a highly qualified surgeon overseeing the Fracture Clinic at Balance Orthopaedics. With specialist training in shoulder and upper limb surgery, Dr Mark brings years of clinical expertise and a commitment to personalised, patient-focused care.
He completed advanced surgical training in Queensland and undertook further post-fellowship education both locally and internationally. Dr Mark values clear communication and a holistic approach to injury management, aiming to support patients through every step of recovery.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys life on the Sunshine Coast with his wife and four children, making the most of the region’s outdoor lifestyle.
Dr Anthony Reynolds
MBChB, FRACGP
Originally from New Zealand, Dr Anthony Reynolds joined Tewantin Medical Centre in early 2023 and now brings his broad medical expertise to Balance Orthopaedics. With a background in surgical specialties and emergency medicine across Queensland, Dr Reynolds has worked continuously in the medical field since becoming a doctor in 2011.
At Balance Orthopaedics, Dr Reynolds plays an integral role in our orthopaedic fracture clinic, combining his surgical experience with a strong interest in musculoskeletal medicine, injury management, and patient recovery. He is also a surgical assistant to orthopaedic surgeon Dr Robinson one day a week, providing valuable continuity of care for patients undergoing orthopaedic procedures.
Outside of work, he enjoys making the most of the Sunshine Coast lifestyle, often out exploring with his young family.
Nicola Cleaver
Certified Orthopaedic Cast Technician
Nicola is a Certified Orthopaedic Cast Technician with over 25 years of hands-on experience. A Fellow of the Australian Institute of Orthopaedic Technologists, Nicola has specialised in advanced casting techniques and the training and mentoring of junior staff. She has served as a senior cast technician at two major hospitals and has provided private casting services for more than 20 years.
Now based in Noosa, Nicola brings her expertise, compassion, and professionalism to our fracture clinic, offering patients high-quality, comfortable, and efficient care. She is particularly known for her skill in applying waterproof casts — ideal for the active, outdoor lifestyle of the Sunshine Coast. Whether you’re managing a simple fracture or a complex injury, Nicola is the go-to expert for tailored, reliable casting solutions.
Outside of her professional life, Nicola enjoys snow sports, motorbike adventures, gardening, fine food, and mead.
Luise Napier
Practice Manager
Luise joined Balance Orthopaedics as Practice Manager in 2020. A long term Noosa local, she brings with her extensive experience in medical administration, including roles in Ear, Nose, and Throat, Audiology, Paediatric Respiratory, and Sleep Medicine. She holds a double Diploma in Practice Management and Business Administration and is a member of Practice Managers Australia.
Luise is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient service and building strong, nurturing client relationships. She takes pride in helping patients navigate their medical experiences and thrives in the high-intensity environment of our practice, appreciating the diversity and unpredictability each day brings
In her role as Practice Manager, Luise oversees daily operations, supports our patients, and collaborates closely with Dr. Robinson and interdisciplinary staff. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active with her daughter, beach outings, yoga, travelling through Southeast Asia, and spending quality time with family and friends.
